„Invisible“ to most existing anti-jammer-equipped gates.
The only EAS Jammer with an additional LED which indicates a properly connected RF antenna(wire) and correctly functioning interior circuitry. In case of a broken RF antenna(wire), the additional LED warns the user that the RF section is out of function.
- R/G LED near the main switch indicates the battery condition.
- Blue LED indicates an active internal circuit.
The device can be used like a jammer for testing the anti-jam feature applied on some standard EAS gate systems. Effective range depends on the distance and strength of the gates, but passing through the gates under normal conditions is safe.
The user has to carry the device on himself while passing through! It is recommended to turn the device on before passing through to test the behavior of the gates. Avoid gates which exibit unpredictable behavior (that usually happens when the gates are badly adjusted and/or maintained).
ALWAYS USE HIGH QUALITY BATTERIES!
Don’t use zinc-carbon, li-ion nor rechargeable 9v because their energy capacity is insufficient for the device to work normally (battery indicator instantly goes red).
High energy alkaline(6lr61) batteries such as Energizer, Varta hi-energy(blue) and high-end Duracell are recommended.
ALWAYS USE NEW, FRESH BATTERIES AND REPLACE THEM BEFORE THE BATTERY CONDITION INDICATOR LED TURNS RED.
